Ted Bundy is one of the most notorious serial killers of all time, and was responsible for the murders of dozens of people in the 1970s. He was born on November 24th, 1946, and lived an outwardly normal life until his arrest in 1975 for aggravated kidnapping and attempted criminal assault. After escaping from custody twice, he stood trial in Florida and was found guilty of three counts of murder — and received the death sentence in 1979.
The infamous serial killer made a final attempt to delay his execution by appealing to the Supreme Court but it ultimately failed, and died by electric chair at Raiford Prison on January 24th, 1989.
